Chobe Noka Camp

A private island, tented rooms with raised decks and a prime location on the south bank of the Chobe River, just where it meets the Zambezi? It can only be Chobe Noka. Close to Kazungula for drivers, and Kasane Airport if you’re flying, it’s a simple yet entirely comfy camp and you’ll sleep under canvas in one of eight tents. Outside, walkways wind through the mahogany and mangosteen trees to the central lounge, dining area, and a firepit under the stars.

But really, it’s all about the wildlife here. Chobe National Park is fifteen minutes away by vehicle, and game drives run morning and afternoon through one of the densest elephant populations on the continent. Add an iconic Chobe River boat cruise for a completely different perspective on the gentle giants and enjoy a sport of birdwatching from the top deck, too.
