Accommodation, dinner and breakfast are almost always included. Some camps also bundle in game drives and guided activities as standard (Thamo Telele’s fully-inclusive rate, Okavango Spirit, and Chobe Noka for example), whilst others, like Desert Hills Glamping Camp, price activities separately on top of a dinner, bed & breakfast rate. We recommend always checking what’s included on the individual camp page before booking.
Camps are typically tented and close to nature; lodges have more permanent thatched or built structures; and our houseboat, Okavango Spirit, puts you in the heart of the Okavango Panhandle – on the water! All are chosen for their unique character and outstanding location over frills.
Yes. Most of our properties welcome children of all ages, and several (including Thamo Telele and Planet Baobab) have family-friendly room configurations and rate-inclusive activities.
Yes! But good value doesn’t mean compromising on the experience. We put your budget towards what actually makes a safari exceptional: incredible wildlife locations and expert guiding, not five-star extras you won’t remember. You get the same calibre of guiding and access as far pricier camps, just without paying for the unnecessary trimmings.
Most properties offer Wi-Fi and comfortable ensuite rooms. A few of our more remote, back-to-basics stays keep things simpler by design. We recommend checking each property page for specifics.
